Nick qualified from Kings College Hospital, University of London in 1982. He worked in London for a few years in the City of London before buying a practice in Truro in 1987. He owned that practice until 2016 when he sold it to concentrate on Implants. He still works there on one day a week solely providing implants.
Always endeavouring to improve his clinical skills he has undertaken a number of courses over the years gaining Certificates in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology, Dental Material science, Implantology and Advanced Implantology from the Eastman Institute, University College London.
He has also studied and passed the Diploma in Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons.
To broaden his experience during his time in Truro he spent a number of years working in the Restorative Dentistry department at Derriford Hospital treating complex dental cases and patients with medical complications.
He also provided Implant treatment in other practices to develop his skills and now has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of dental implants.
He spent a few enjoyable years as a tutor at the Peninsula Dental School.
Nick is a member of the Association of Implantology and of the International team for Implantology.
In real life he spends time fighting a losing battle with a house and large garden and enjoying time with his family. A keen sportsman in younger days he is now limited to keeping his fingers crossed for the Welsh rugby team, casting flies at disinterested trout and salmon, and eyeing his old dusty golf clubs with suspicion and fear.
